Shortbarrel Bee Keeper American Whiskey Finished in Honey Barrels
A “Short Barrel” is a barrel that, upon bottling, has lost over 50% of its contents to angel’s share. Due to higher contact with air and oak, the whiskey inside aged differently, developing in a unique and powerful way. The select few bottles that come from it tell a story of withstanding aging, evaporation, and Kentucky seasons – the perfect pour that battled the elements and survived. Only a select few get a taste before it’s gone forever. What started as a small group in 2016, the Shortbarrel name has become a staple on home bars – assigned only to the barrels that meet our group’s high standards. We welcome you to our club and hope you appreciate as much as we do that no two barrels will be the same.

Shortbarrel Double Oaked Series Straight Rye Whiskey
Shortbarrel Double Oaked Series Straight Rye Whiskey is a bold and complex blend aged between 4 and 12 years, sourced from Indiana and Kentucky. Crafted from an 95% rye, 5% malted barley mashbill, this limited batch release—just 8 barrels—underwent a meticulous double oaking process. Aged for an additional 7 months in Kelvin Cooperage barrels with a Medium Plus toast and toasted heads (TH.), along with a deep #5 char, the result is an unforgettable whiskey with a rich, layered finish. Expect deep notes of caramel, spice, and toasted oak, rounded out by a hint of smokiness from the char.

Both men know how important it is to have a great heart for America’s children, first responders and our nation’s Veterans. As major contributors to organizations they strongly believe in, they realized that if they combined their philanthropy efforts, they could increase sports and awareness in meeting the mission requirements of these non-profits.

Shortbarrel Sapsquatch Straight Bourbon
Shortbarrel Sapsquatch Straight Bourbon features a blend of 5 and 6-year-old Kentucky bourbon, aged in a mix of 4 maple barrels from Vermont and 2 double oak barrels. With an additional 8-month finish, the bourbon absorbs deep, rich flavors from its time in these barrels. The mashbill consists of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley. A portion of the spirit also spent time in new Kelvin barrels, boasting a medium plus toast and a #5 char. The combination of these elements creates a complex and layered bourbon, balancing sweetness, spice, and oak-forward richness.

Crafted from a 95/5 mashbill, this spirit is finished in honey casks from a Georgia apiary after aging for a minimum of 5 years. This limited release features four honey barrels and four Kelvin toasted barrels, creating a truly distinctive finish. Sourced from Indiana and Kentucky, the rye matures for an additional year in its honey cask finish, delivering a rich, toasted profile with a sweet, silky touch of honey.

“The Bee’s Knees II”
Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that has been double baked, toasted, and honey-finished. We started with a 50/50 blend of 4-year Kentucky Straight Bourbon from Bardstown Bourbon Company and 5-year Kentucky Straight Bourbon from Green River Distillery. After blending, we added the bourbon back into 4 of Atlanta’s Own Honey Next Door Honey Barrels – 1 Medium Toast Barrel and 3 Kentucky Straight Heavy Char Bourbon Barrels. After aging for at least 60 days, we re-blended the barrels and bottled this release at barrel-proof.

Toasted 101: A small-batch Kentucky Bourbon aged a few long Kentucky summers, re-barreled in new traditional medium toasted barrels for a minimum of 21 days. The result is a pleasantly balanced toasted bourbon with just the right amount of vanilla, candy, and sweet oak flavor. Bottled at 101 proof this bourbon will surely become a staple on any bar. Sierra Nevada and St. George Ruthless Whiskey
St. George Spirits and Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. have been friends and collaborators for more than two decades. Sierra Nevada has brewed much of the wash for our Lot Series Single Malt since the late 90s. In honor of our friendship, we wanted to explore what it would be like to distill one of Sierra Nevada’s most beloved beers – Ruthless Rye IPA. Distilled and laid down in 2013, this Collaboration is one we’ve both been patiently waiting to share. Oh, and we’ve blended in a bit of that very first Single Malt Whiskey from 1997 as well. We hope that you enjoy this special release of our shared history.

More than any crop, corn embodies the life-giving relationship between these ancient mountains and their inhabitants. Descendants of the region’s first farmers continue replanting the best seeds from each harvest, as they and their ancestors have done for over 7,000 years.
Sierra Norte distilling started with Master Distiller Douglas French’s passion to use different varieties of this ancient, flavorful Oaxacan corn to make a series of unique, outstanding whiskies. Each variety is distilled separately and matured in French Oak casks, so as to showcase its individual character and nuance.
