Devils River Coffee Bourbon Whiskey
The road to Devils River Coffee Bourbon Whiskey starts by sourcing a Vienna Roast blend of “free-trade” coffee beans from a local San Antonio coffee roaster. Responsibly sourced from Honduras, Colombia, and Brazil, the coffee beans are roasted to extract the most flavor. The Vienna Roast is the most difficult roast to achieve on a consistent basis, so of course, Devils River Whiskey had to take on the challenge.

Dewar’s Double Double 38 Year Old 375ml
Dewar’s Double Double 38 Year Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is a strictly limited-edition whisky created with our unique 4-stage ageing process, and is the second off our rare blended malts in a special Collector’s Series celebrating Scotland’s most famous whisky regions. As a tribute to the Upper Highlands region, Double Double 38 Year Old is finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks that previously held Royal Brackla Single Malt Whisky.
To create Dewar’s Double Double 38 Year Old Blended Malt, we deliberately held back an allotment of our 37 year old from the previous year as a foundation. This same method will be repeated for every subsequent year, allowing every marque of a specific age to carry forward to the next year’s edition.
Introducing the second blended-malt release in the four-part Collector’s Series honoring the whisky regions of Scotland, Dewar’s Double Double 38 Year Old. This truly rare and superb whisky is crafted like few others in history, made as a loving tribute to the Upper Highlands region.
We begin with a curated selection of the finest Islay and Highland single malts, to which we add a small portion of last year’s Double Double 37 Year Old, the first Collector’s Series release, which has been allowed to mature another year. The final blend is aged and blended four times, spending its final months resting in Pedro Ximénex sherry casks that once held the prestigious Royal Brackla single malt.
The experience of tasting this one-of-a-kind whisky is a true feast for the senses, offering aromatic notes of white flowers with a touch of citrus. Tasting reveals sumptuous notes of creamy vanilla and toasted cereals, along with a sweet almond essence and a subtle whiff of smoke. The Pedro Ximénez sherry casks used in the ageing process offer delicate notes of dried figs and plums, with a flavour reminiscent of dark chocolate shavings on indulgent hot cocoa.
Dewar’s has teamed up with 2-star Michelin Chef Gabriel Kreuther to create a luxurious, limited-edition selection of custom chocolates featuring Dewar’s Double Double 38 Year Old. Made from the world’s finest ingredients and infused with a few amber drops of this rare whisky, each sumptuous bite elevates the experience to new levels of indulgence. As you savor it, you will be able to appreciate the harmony between rich cocoa and the distinctive, nuanced flavors of Dewar’s Double Double 38 Year Old in an entirely new way.
4 Stage Aging Process For Ultimate Smoothness
Innovation comes in many forms, and in 2019 our Master Blender, Stephanie Macleod, released a new range of Blended Scotch Whiskies with a Four Stage Ageing Process for Ultimate Smoothness. This may sound like an indulgence but the series has been picking up gold medal awards the world over since being released.
We believe that in order to do things right and get the best results you should put in double the effort; everything else is just a job half done. So we asked ourselves how we could put in double the effort to our range that was already Double Aged for Extra Smoothness…and it was obvious..double it!
Our Double Double Series has been aged, blended together, aged again, then finished in sherry casks for the Ultimate Smoothness.

Dewar’s French Smooth
Dewar’s French Smooth is a result of finishing the brand’s signature 8-year-old, double-aged blend in Apple Brand Calvados casks from the orchards of Normandy, France. The unexpectedly decadent Dewar’s French Smooth utilizes the oak that creates the traditional Calvados cider to enhance the sweetness of the liquid to develop a delicious blend between baked apples, citrus, and a hint of cinnamon. Given this unique characteristic, the notes on the nose create a complex yet sweet smell with a honeyed sweetness and a dusting of creme anglaise.
Thanks to the crisp taste of the apples, the finished product becomes a perfect study of balance, creaminess, and the encapsulation of the best of France & Scotland coming together while providing a modest price point for the supremely smooth liquid.
Perfectly paired with apple picking season, this liquid embodies the essence of the fall and encaptures that warm cozy feeling.
