Daviess County Ducks Unlimited Bourbon
Introducing a collaboration between Ducks Unlimited and Daviess County Bourbon. As an official licensed partner of Ducks Unlimited, Lux Row Distillers created a new Daviess County Bourbon variant that features a unique flavor profile, Ducks Unlimited-branded packaging and a name that is certain to appeal to outdoor enthusiasts and bourbon drinkers alike. Finished in Missouri white-oak barrels with toasted heads, Daviess County Double Barrel was created by Lux Row Master Distiller and long-time DU member, John Rempe. Double Barrel features a mashbill that is similar to the other Daviess County Bourbon variants, along with the same proof level (96 proof). The double-barrel finish gives this limited-edition release a unique flavor profile.

Idle Hands was named after a now gone East Village Rock n’ Roll, Beer Whiskey and Burger Bar. Idle had a great American Whiskey and Beer selection and no phony pretense, great place to explore beer and bourbon with friends and a great soundtrack Dave worked with the former owner Rob Morton to blend 2 thirteen barrel batches of 5+ YO Bourbon. Bourbon is all the same Heavy Rye mash bill used in Tumblin’ Dice. Indiana distilled – 60% Corn, 36% Rye, 4% Barley. Proof point range was selected to Rob’s preference.

Matured for 20 years in hand-selected re-charred American Oak and bottled at cask strength, this is the ultimate expression of our whisky-making craft.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Sweet notes of vanilla and caramel, cedar, wood spice, and ripe fruits.
- Palate: Rich yet dry with honey spice, stone fruits, toasted oak, and a hint of freshly cut grass.
- Finish: Lingering with desiccated coconut and a touch of cocoa.
