Heroes come to us in many forms. Family members, characters in movies, even random strangers who change our lives. All of these individuals have something in common – their willingness to sacrifice their lives for our good. This special batch was created to honor the heroes who risk their lives every day for us – the police officers, the firefighters, and all first responders who never made it home. All of the proceeds from this special release will be donated to the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation to support the families of our local heroes. Each year at Copper Sky, the master blender rifles through the Rickhouses and designs a uniquely crafted blend of the many experiments done at the distillery. Some of these experiments never made it to bottling, as they were marked for this exclusive project. The goal of this yearly release is to put on display the range of whiskey in our stock and present you with a stunning final product for the holidays. The name ‘Copper Accord’ is inspired by the way an Orchestra melds together an array of instruments into an illustrious musical accord. Copper Sky Whiskey Finished In Grand Marnier & Vanilla Barrels
Next up in our experimental series is something truly different. First, we take our 21% rye bourbon and rest it in a Grand Marnier barrel, giving it a unique orange zest on the palate. Then, we move it over into a vanilla extract barrel, letting it finish out to provide a one-of-a-kind orange-cream flavor, unlike anything we have experienced. This double-finished whiskey is really something special in our Experimental Series. Sit back and take a sip of this amazing project.
