Whiskey and cigars, a match made for the true aficionado. Not just any whiskey can be paired with a cigar though. Just like with food, the palate is a very unique key to the pairing of two different elements. If you know Copper Sky, you know we love doing things just a bit differently. Instead of finding the right cigar to pair, we made the right whiskey. A rye whiskey rested in American Oak and Amburana wood, this distinct batch is rightfully called the Cigar Blend. With notes of gingerbread, dried fruits, and an earthy aroma, grab your favorite stick and enjoy this one-of-a-kind experiment.

Heroes come to us in many forms. Family members, characters in movies, even random strangers who change our lives. All of these individuals have something in common – their willingness to sacrifice their lives for our good. This special batch was created to honor the heroes who risk their lives every day for us – the police officers, the firefighters, and all first responders who never made it home. All of the proceeds from this special release will be donated to the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation to support the families of our local heroes. Each year at Copper Sky, the master blender rifles through the Rickhouses and designs a uniquely crafted blend of the many experiments done at the distillery. Some of these experiments never made it to bottling, as they were marked for this exclusive project. The goal of this yearly release is to put on display the range of whiskey in our stock and present you with a stunning final product for the holidays. The name ‘Copper Accord’ is inspired by the way an Orchestra melds together an array of instruments into an illustrious musical accord. Our accord is a union of a variety of hand-picked and meticulously blended whiskies. Cheers to what inspires you to be great!

Next up in our experimental series is something truly different. First, we take our 21% rye bourbon and rest it in a Grand Marnier barrel, giving it a unique orange zest on the palate. Then, we move it over into a vanilla extract barrel, letting it finish out to provide a one-of-a-kind orange-cream flavor, unlike anything we have experienced. This double-finished whiskey is really something special in our Experimental Series. Sit back and take a sip of this amazing project.

If you love the orange zest from a Grand Marnier, this experiment is for you. We took our “low rye bourbon” and let it rest in a fresh Grand Mariner barrel to soak up those amazing flavors.
