Special Limited Release
A unique, small-batch spirit, with an innovative twist. Crafted from corn, rye, and malted barley, our staple grains are grown exclusively for us on the Omlin Family farm in Quincy, WA. The grains are mashed and distilled in our Woodinville distillery, then transported over the Cascade Mountains to our private barrel houses, where Central Washington’s dramatic temperature swings extract rich, natural flavors from the oak. Our exclusive barrel wood is seasoned outdoors for 18 months—enduring rain, wind, sun, and snow—softening its tannins. Slowly toasted and heavily charred, the barrels impart complex caramel and vanilla notes. And for this experimental batch, the story continues. Co-Founder and Head Distiller, Brett Carlile, potholed a batch of exceptional used Añejo Tequila barrels. Recognizing the unique opportunity—and inspired by his love for both whiskey and tequila—he seized the chance to experiment, knowing this discovery could lead to something truly special. Our fully matured bourbon went into the tequila barrels, and the results were even more exciting than Brett anticipated. In addition to Woodinville’s well-known, award-winning flavor profiles, the tequila barrels imparted complementary flavors of caramel corn, orange zest, agave syrup, and vanilla bean, with a cayenne-spiced finish.

Woodinville Founder’s Find 13 Year Old Bourbon
Long ago, in the hills of Tennessee, a group of legendary distillers proposed aging their whiskeys in reconditioned barrels – barrels that had been scraped clean, toasted and charred anew. The whiskey was made, but the powers-that-be blocked its release – and the barrels, now full, faded Into obscurity, forgotten in the rick houses, artifacts lost to time. On a recent whiskey adventure, Woodinville co-founder Orlin Sorensen discovered one of these rare unusual barrels, took a sip to share. Woodinville Whiskey proudly presents its first Founder’s Find – a-one-of-a-kind blend of 13-year-old Indiana bourbon with a vicious body, incredible depth, and mile-long finish.

Woodinville Ginja Cask Cask Strength Bourbon

Prior to being coopered, the barrel wood is seasoned in the open air, rain, wind, sun, and snow for eighteen months, softening the wood’s harsh tannins. The barrels are then slowly coated and heavily charred to further enrich the wood’s desirable flavors. After the whiskey is fully matured, we transfer it into freshly emptied Ginjinha Barrels. Ginjinha is a Portuguese liquor made by infusing sour cherries called Ginja Berries. Blackberry jam greets you on the nose, on the palate a honey sweetness at the start, followed by undertones of dark cherry and cardamom, the finish leaves you with a pleasant cinnamon and clove spice.

Woodinville Limited Edition 8 Year Old Straight Bourbon
With only 30 barrels handcrafted, what you are holding is an extremely rare, limited-edition whiskey from the Woodinville Whiskey Company. Eight years ago, our founders set out to make something extraordinary- an authentic, grain-to-glass bourbon, proudly crafted with 55% corn, 35% rye, and 10% malted barley. The grains were mashed and distilled with care in our Woodinville distillery, before being rolled into our private barrel houses, where Central Washington’s extreme temperature cycles promote the extraction of natural flavors of the oak over 8 years. Prior to being coopered, the barrels are seasoned for 24 months. Barrels are heavily toasted and lightly charred, imparting a deep and rich complexity to this whiskey. This well-seasoned oak, new barrel finish, unique mash bill and additional aging, bring an extra depth of character and flavor. Finally, our 8-year bourbon is bottled in this individually numbered very special edition.

Woodinville Moscatel Finished Straight Bourbon is Woodinville’s fully mature, Flagship Straight Bourbon Whiskey transferred into 10-year-old, 200-gallon Moscatel de Setúbal barrels for “finishing”. Moscatel de Setúbal is a rare, fortified wine produced on the Setúbal Peninsula of Portugal, a region known for its ideal climate for producing these wines. This “finishing” process adds notes of dried apricot and orange peel, with a honey and toffee sweetness. Candied nuts and a hint of fennel greet you for a lingering finish.
