The Singleton 19 Year Old Special Release 2021
As our fable goes, deep in the waters of the River Dullen lived an ethereal siren. A golden maiden, with the shimmering tail of a fish, known to sing a song of honeyed sweetness that drew listeners in to seek its beautiful source. This Siren’s song gave The Singleton its smooth and melodious nature – a scotch born of slow craft, rich with the bounty of autumn fruit, caramel and spice.
This is a malt that shimmers with sweet aromas of dried fig, apricot and orange peel over rich marzipan and vanilla cake. With soft and luscious textures, it flows sweetly, and ends with an elegant and waning finish, faintly savoury, hinting of nutmeg and ginger. From start to finish, blooming layers of flavor echo sweetly, lingering like a siren’s call.

The Singleton 40 Year Old
Chocolate is a symbol of decadence and deliciousness across the world. Both sacred and seductive, it has been cherished by civilizations throughout history. Inspired by this, our acclaimed malt master Maureen Robinson dreamt of a dram with dark chocolate depths, a modern way to taste the magic and mystery of cacao.
To achieve such indulgence a selection of our finest 12-year-old whiskies were harmonized and rested for nearly three decades, the longest secondary maturation to date in the Singleton’s history. Maureen then amplified this liquid’s cacao-like essence by finishing it in casks which had previously held Zacapa Rum XO & Royal. Rums luxuriously aged above the clouds.
The result is this sensually smooth 40-year-old single malt scotch whisky which has intensely rich layers of pears slathered in velvety dark chocolate, caramelized tropical fruits, and just a hint of intriguing black pepper spice. It is a whisky which pushes boundaries and is forged from the expertise of two titans of extraordinary taste, The Singleton and Zacapa Rum.

The Taoscán Single Malt Irish Whiskey
The first and only whiskey of its kind, The Taoscán is the world’s first Port & Chestnut finished whiskey; a unique blend of barrels brought together in perfect harmony. Restoring Irish whiskey to its rightful place as a global leader takes a whiskey of extraordinary character; The Taoscán is that whiskey.
There is no whiskey on earth like The Taoscán. While its formative years in American Oak Bourbon casks and Sherry Oloroso butts imparted vanilla, cedar, oaked musk and notes of rich maple syrup, caramelised figs and juicy raisins, it is the finishing period that delivered a whiskey of era-defining complexity and flavour.
The Taoscán could have been released after its time in American Oak and Sherry Oloroso as a great whiskey. But epitomising our willingness to push boundaries, it was then split across many barrels for two years. Through experimentation and a honed appreciation for flavour, a skilfully balanced blend of the whiskey’s time in Virgin French Chestnut and Tawny Port casks delivered a whiskey of groundbreaking complexity and innovation. The Taoscán is the world’s first Tawny Port and French Chestnut single malt whiskey.
TASTING NOTES
The Nose: Warm banana bread studded with candied walnut comes to the fore, joined by the rich sweetness of golden syrup and the mellow vanilla of a coke float, balanced out with just a hint of sourness.
The Palate: A rich spice travels through the mid-palate, rounded out with a smooth viscosity that engulfs the whole mouth with an exceptional creaminess. On the back palate, a slightly dry mouthfeel melts into an enveloping luxuriance with warming notes of vanilla, toasted nuts and the joyful memories of campfire s’mores.
The Finish: A medium to long finish of roasted chestnuts and a hint of spice calls to mind the warm embrace of home.

The Un-Told Story of Kentucky Whiskey Chapter 2
Throughout history and at the inception of America, the Bourbon Whiskey industry has mirrored society. There are both hidden and unhidden tales of triumph and travesty. The Bourbon industry continues to survive the test of times. People are ready to have conversations about race and social issues. And because of that, we hear the rumble of once whispered family stories of African American Bourbon traditions that speak of secret recipes and hidden distilleries in the hollers of Kentucky and the urban communities that are at the heart of Bourbon country.
The Whiskey Rebellion in 1794 caused a transition in the whiskey industry. It was a period of improvement in the American economy and technology, It ushered in a period of mass production of bourbon. Oral traditions and deeds of sale buried in the archives indicate that a strong labor force was needed. It is estimated by 1850, 28% of the population in Kentucky were enslaved African Americans. Therefore, without a doubt, African Americans completed the labor-intensive tasks of creating Bourbon and solidifying its place in history as an American tradition. Their soon to be told stories and voices are in every recipe, building structure, and in every sip. We have a commitment to honor their Stories and legacies. Let’s enjoy and educate.
