U.S. Representative, Senator, and the tenth Governor of Kentucky, Thomas Metcalfe (1780-1855) spent the early years of his working life as a stonemason before eventually winding up in politics. After Metcalfe win the governorship in 1828, his opponent mocked his early trade which earned him the nickname “Old StoneHammer.”
As governor, Metcalfe’s tough-mindedness helped him accomplish much in the way of internal improvements for Kentucky. In honor of Thomas Metcalfe’s dogged determination and a job well done, we proudly offer smooth, satisfying StoneHammer single barrel.

Stonestreet Founder’s Edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Our passion for bourbon grew out of our love of horseracing.
In 2005, we established Stonestreet Farms in Kentucky intending to make our mark in top-level thoroughbred racing. That dream became a reality when we won three consecutive American Horses of the Year: Curlin (2007, 2008) and Rachel Alexandra (2009).
As with horses, mastering bourbon challenges the limits of willpower and perseverance.
Fortunately, we know the importance of grit. Passed down through six generations, the Stonestreet name—which graces our horse farm, our family estate vineyard, and now our first bourbon—embodies a drive for excellence, along with the humility to understand that victory is never a given.
Today, with the Founder’s Edition, we honor the entrepreneurial spirit that shaped America’s whiskey legend, as well as the unbridled competition that keeps that spirit alive today. In time, we aim to build our own distillery, craft distinct mash bills, and share our artisanal creations.
And always, we will chase perfection knowing the pursuit is infinite. That is precisely why we believe the future of Stonestreet Bourbon knows no bounds.

Stranahan’s Diamond Peak Batch No. 2 Extra Añejo Tequila Cask
American Whiskey, American Single Malt Whiskey, Whisky/Whiskey, Brands, Stranahan's Single Malt Whiskey, AlcoholDiamond Peak’s second unique release highlights flavors that transcend traditional whiskey. Using a marriage of 5-8 year Stranahan’s, the liquid spends up to just over 2 years in casks that previously held the finest extra añejo tequila, the prized Reserva de Familia® blended from the José Cuervo special family reserves. The resulting whiskey is a burst of brightness that’s herbal, peppery, and has just the right amount of agave sweetness.
Distillation: Distilled from 100% malted barley and handmade in small batches at the Stranahan’s distillery, Colorado’s first legal distillery since Prohibition
Maturation: A marriage of five to eight-year-old Stranahan’s American Single Malt Whiskey, initially aged in virgin American Oak Barrels with #3 char.
Finish: Upon completion of the aging process, the whiskey is transferred into extra añejo tequila casks, where the liquid is finished for up to a little over 2 years. The resulting taste is both rich as it is complex, producing a mix of flavors and an ultra-smooth taste.
Cut: Cut to proof with pristine Rocky Mountain water from Eldorado Springs and non-chill filtered.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Peppery and floral, softly layered with butterscotch.
Palate: Herbal, salted caramel with a mellow oak backbone.
Finish: Creamy malt fades into light agave sugar.

The story of Stranahan’s began when volunteer firefighter Jess Graber responded to a neighbor’s barn fire in 1998. Unbeknownst to him, that barn belonged to Woody Creek local George Stranahan, a long-time brewery owner and whiskey connoisseur. Stravaig Scotch 12 Year Old
The majestic stag, ‘monarch of the glen’ and perhaps the most iconic of all Scottish stravaigers. Roaming the magnificent splendor of the Scottish Highlands without limits in search of little more than tranquility, sustenance, and occasional good company.
’Stravaig’, meaning to ‘roam’ or ‘wander’, like many Scots Gaelic words perfectly capture a feeling or quiet desire that is often hard to describe. Like the inherent pleasure of being able to savor the journey as much as the destination.
This blended 12-year-old Scottish starts with notes of sweet honey, vanilla and baking spices, with a respectfully pleasing peaty finish.
