Kentucky Peerless Distilling Company began in Henderson, Kentucky in the early 1880s and has been distilling whiskey ever since. During the Prohibition era, Peerless products were some of the few available by prescription for medicinal use.

Despite being corn-based, bourbon owes much of its flavor to other grains. Our Kentucky Peerless Single Barrel High Rye Mash has a higher percentage of rye grain, emphasizing its sweet & spicy contribution.

Peg Leg Porker Tennessee Rye Whiskey is hand-selected by Pitmaster Carey Bringle. It is then finished with our unique hickory charcoal filtering process giving it the signature Peg Let Porker taste.

Aged in 2nd fill oak barrels, this amazing spirit brings out savory vanilla notes with a hint of cinnamon and crème brûlée. This 17-year-old American Light Whiskey is bottled at cask strength.

A blueprint for the future of precision blending, the next evolution in this series are private builds using different French oak staves and mash bills to create something truly unique and distinct. Working in Collaboration with Tonnellerie Radoux of France, the market leader in oak barrel manufacturing and innovation, we selected each stave using their state-of-the-art OakScan process to construct a truly memorable flavor profile. After all, the best architect leaves no room for error.

A marriage of modern technology and blending to create an entirely new set of flavor profiles. The first build in this series brings together our signature four-grain bill with two different types of French Oak Staves. In collaboration with Radoux of France, we carefully hand-selected each Stave using their state-of-the-art OakScan process to construct a truly memorable flavor profile.

Penelope Bourbon Barrel Strength pushes the boundaries of our signature four grain balanced flavor profile. Distilled in Indiana and Kentucky, this batch was blended from three bourbon mash bills aged a minimum of 4 years in new American oak barrels. Each barrel was hand-selected to create this unique offering.

Penelope Bourbon Founders Reserve showcases rare and unique barrels we were fortunate to find. The first release in this series highlights a collection of Light Whiskey barrels distilled from corn at Seagrass Indiana in 2008. Aged in 2nd fill oak barrels, this amazing spirit brings our savory vanilla notes with a hint of cinnamon and creme brûlée.

Barrel Strength Batch 05 is a 116-proof four grain straight bourbon blended from three bourbon mash bills aged 3 – 4 years in new American oak barrels and completely uncut and non-chill-filtered. The tasting experience starts with robust smoke and savory grain notes and finishes with a great balance of candied sweetness, smoke and savory grain. Barrel Strength Batch 05 is a limited run of 12,000 bottles.
