Bardstown Distillery Reserve Mizunara Oak Barrel Finish Whiskey
Bardstown Bourbon Company Distillery Reserve Mizunara Oak Barrel Finish is a meticulously crafted blend of straight whiskeys aged up to 18 years and finished for 28 months in Mizunara oak barrels. This exclusive release showcases the influence of Japan’s rare and highly porous Mizunara wood, imparting delicate spice, soft oak, and layered complexity. Bottled at 54.65% ABV (109.3 proof), this small-batch blend features Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee bourbons, each contributing distinct character. The result is a rich and refined whiskey, offering a harmonious balance of deep oak, warm spice, and nuanced sweetness.

Bardstown Notre Dame Cathedral French Oak Finish Bourbon

Rested in 300-year-old French oak barrels from the storied Bercé Forest, these ancient trees were originally harvested to restore the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris following the fire of 2019. Barker’s Mill Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Barker’s Mill was built along the West Fork Creek in Christian County, KY, serving as a community focal point for over a hundred years, until it fell into disrepair and was torn down in 1940. In the early 1800s, the mill included a distillery to make use of the grain on site. We honor those early, independent distillers with this vintage-styled bottled-in-bond Bourbon. Distilled using local white corn, red winter wheat, and malted barley, aged on-site, blended and bottled unfiltered from the same distilling season.

Barmen 1873 is a blend of two bourbons. It has notes of caramel, vanilla, and toffee, plus grilled peach, dark chocolate, and coffee, with a finish of cinnamon, ginger, and baking spice. Bottled at 92 Proof by Coors Whiskey Co., Bardstown, KY.

Barred Owl Bottled in Bond 4 Year Old Bourbon
Barred Owl Bourbon was created to spend a lot of time in the barrel. Made from corn, barley, and wheat, then aged in #4 char oak barrels in our Vermont rick house. The result is a bourbon with a complex aroma and flavor redolent of honey, caramels, and vanilla, with gentle notes of oak and spice. The finish is warm, oak-forward, gently sweet, and well-rounded – a classic heated bourbon.
Fermented, distilled, and bottled by Appalachian Gap Distillery. Aged in charred oak barrels for at least 4 years. Distilled in Vermont.

Barrell Bourbon 20 Year Old Toasted Single Barrel Bourbon

In 2018, Barrell Craft Spirits introduced the first release of its 15-year-old Gray Label Bourbon. During the production of that bourbon, a portion of the blend was transferred into nine custom-raised American oak barrels, each perfectly toasted to our specifications. After resting for five years, the first of these unique toasted barrels is ready to be shared with the world, with the remaining eight barrels to be released annually. This Single Barrel is the epitome of expertly blended bourbon, matured in a toasted barrel.

Barrell Bourbon Amburana Cask Finish

Amburana casks are challenging to work with, as they impart strong cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and vanilla spice notes. True blending expertise is required to enhance the bourbon with Amburana and maintain balance. The BCS blending team created a bourbon blend of two mash bills with different char levels finished in Amburana casks. A batting of individual casks without finishing was layered in to add depth, richness, and complexity, ensuring the bourbon shines through first and foremost. Only 14,400 bottles produced.
