Pinhook Collaboration Series Edition #2 Garrett Oliver
Garret Oliver is the brewmaster of Brooklyn Brewery in New York City. He became friends with Sean Josephs, Pinhook’s co-founder and master blender, as a regular at Char No. 4, Sean’s Brooklyn bourbon bar. Garret is probably best known as the author of The Brewmaster’s Table and the Editor-in-chief of The Oxford Companion to Beer. A professional brewing veteran of more than 30 years, Garret is also a great enthusiast of bourbon, cognac, and mezcal. In 2014, he won the prestigious James Beard Award for Outstanding Wine, Spirits, or Beer Professional and, most recently, he founded the Michael James Jackson Foundation for Brewing and Distilling, which awards scholarships for technical education in brewing and distilling to people of color in the United States.

Pinhook Collaboration Series Edition No. 3 Australian Single Malt
Whisky/Whiskey, Australian Single Malt Whisky, Brands, Pinhook Bourbon, Single Malt Whiskey, AlcoholJordan Salcito is a sommelier and the founder of Drink RAMONA, a family of award-winning Italian spritzes. She became friends with Sean Josephs, Pinhook’s co-founder and master blender, through their shared love of wine. Jordan spent over a decade working in New York, including as part of the team to win the James Beard Award for “Outstanding Wine Service” at Eleven Madison Park. Her wine list at Momofuku Ko was named “Most Original Wine List in the World.”
Ever a student, Salcito passed the Master Sommelier “Blind Tasting” exam on her first try and spends time each year working harvest. Her forthcoming book, Smart Mouth, will be published by Ten Speed Press. She lives in France with her family.

After a full maturation in a first-fill bourbon barrel, we decided to re-rack this single malt into a fresh first-fill bourbon cask for 6 months. This unique technique has added incredible richness and depth to the whisky. There is an invasion of vanilla bean, grapefruit, and sweet oak, with notes of dark chocolate, honeysuckle and coconut lingering on the incredibly long finish.
