Barmen 1873 is a blend of two bourbons. It has notes of caramel, vanilla, and toffee, plus grilled peach, dark chocolate, and coffee, with a finish of cinnamon, ginger, and baking spice. Bottled at 92 Proof by Coors Whiskey Co., Bardstown, KY.

Barred Owl Bottled in Bond 4 Year Old Bourbon
Barred Owl Bourbon was created to spend a lot of time in the barrel. Made from corn, barley, and wheat, then aged in #4 char oak barrels in our Vermont rick house. The result is a bourbon with a complex aroma and flavor redolent of honey, caramels, and vanilla, with gentle notes of oak and spice. The finish is warm, oak-forward, gently sweet, and well-rounded – a classic heated bourbon.
Fermented, distilled, and bottled by Appalachian Gap Distillery. Aged in charred oak barrels for at least 4 years. Distilled in Vermont.

After blending, it was finished in new toasted American oak casks for 20 months. This limited-edition bottling is a new interpretation of our award-winning Barrell Seagrass, created in collaboration with T8KE as a unique offering. Bottled at cask strength so you can appreciate its true flavor, the result is a deep and bold expression of Seagrass, with grassy oceanside and apricot notes dispersed throughout each sip. Barrell Bourbon 20 Year Old Toasted Single Barrel Bourbon
Distilled in Tennessee, Kentucky, & Indiana
In 2018, Barrell Craft Spirits introduced the first release of its 15-year-old Gray Label Bourbon. During the production of that bourbon, a portion of the blend was transferred into nine custom-raised American oak barrels, each perfectly toasted to our specifications. After resting for five years, the first of these unique toasted barrels is ready to be shared with the world, with the remaining eight barrels to be released annually. This Single Barrel is the epitome of expertly blended bourbon, matured in a toasted barrel.

Barrell Bourbon Amburana Cask Finish

Amburana casks are challenging to work with, as they impart strong cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and vanilla spice notes. True blending expertise is required to enhance the bourbon with Amburana and maintain balance. The BCS blending team created a bourbon blend of two mash bills with different char levels finished in Amburana casks. A batting of individual casks without finishing was layered in to add depth, richness, and complexity, ensuring the bourbon shines through first and foremost. Only 14,400 bottles produced.

We focused on a balance of richness and depth from the older barrels, while allowing the 10 and 12-year-old barrels to sing through with notes of baked goods and juiciness. The blend mingled for a couple of months to heighten the lushness and complexity. Finally, we methodically layered in 15-year-old barrels to bring out notes of tropical fruit and angelica spice. The 9, 10, and 13 year-old barrels were chosen for their peppery assertiveness, making this “spice box” marriage wonderfully robust yet a little rough around the edges. We refined the blend by adding in citrus forward, lower proof, 15-year-old barrels bit by bit, ensuring that the rye forward base would continue to shine, while delivering a lush mouthfeel.

Barrell Bourbon Batch 028
Barrell Bourbon Batch 028 is a blend of 10 and 11-year-old barrels created from a marriage of three distinct sub-groups of barrels. The first was aroma forward with notes of tropical fruit, citrus zest and exotic spices, identified to drive the nose of the final blend. The second group had a richness in the middle palate and a sweet, almond-like body. The third group was peppery and tannic, adding backbone and a savory, woodsy and earthy component. The final blend of Batch 028 allows each of these groups to shine through. It presents a bouquet of ripe tropical and sweet flower aroma backed up by a robust punch of rustic wood in the cadence and finish.

Barrell Bourbon Batch 26
$89.99Barrell Bourbon Batch 026 was created by combining 9, 10, 11, 13 and 15-year-old barrels in several blending steps. The first was a fusion of 9-year-old high rye barrels peppery and pointed on the palate, 10-year-old oak forward barrels, and sweet, toasty 11-year-old barrels for mouthfeel and classic baking spice notes. The second balanced citrus forward 10, 12 and 15-year-old barrels with spicy, floral 9-year-old high rye barrels. These two blends were gradually co-mingled resulting in an intriguing bourbon that dances between fruit and spice long into its finish.
