Tasting Notes
Honey, orange, and lemon peel lead the nose here with soft toffee following on the palate alongside hints of oak and winter spice. The finish is honey sweet and rich, lingering for some time.

Green River Distillery
Green River Distillery, located in Owensboro, Kentucky, is one of the state’s oldest bourbon distilleries, originally established in 1885. After reopening in 2016, the distillery has continued its rich legacy of producing high-quality Kentucky bourbon, using traditional distillation methods that have stood the test of time. Their bourbon is crafted from carefully selected local grains and distilled in copper stills, resulting in a smooth, complex whiskey with deep flavors. The series premiere tells of a rare and highly sought-after Cambus 30-Year-Old Whisky, which goes to a secret auction where world elites vie for the elusive expression. But as the hammer drops, the bottle is snatched into evil hands. Agent W is called to rescue the bottle, only to find the stolen expression isn’t quite what he bargained for.

The Legendary Cambus
Cambus Distillery dates back to the early 1800s. It was opened in 1836 in a village of the same name near Alloa, in the Lowlands of Scotland. Here, it quietly produced its whiskies, developing a reputation for smooth and soft casks that became a staple in many fine blends.
In 1913, a fire destroyed much of the distillery, forcing it to close until 1937. It enjoyed a period of great success until World War II again shut its doors. The distillery was closed for good in 1993, leaving behind a great legacy of producing some of the finest single grain casks. The few remaining whiskies are now of an excellent vintage—scarce and highly sought after.

Mannochmore 1990 Prima & Ultima Third Release
A very special Mannochmore sourced from a single small experimental batch exposed to a highly unusual maturation. First housed in refill casks, then in unusual, highly active virgin European Oak for almost three decades has revealed a whole new character. The pale and youthful whisky has evolved into a dark and intriguing spirit, lean and smooth in texture. Selected by Dr Craig Wilson, Mannochmore 1990 is one of eight carefully curated whiskies in the third instalment of the Prima & Ultima series. The powerful taste of striking dark orange marmalade is cut with drying wood spice before spiralling into endless layers of deep bitterness.
TASTING NOTES
Appearance: Rich rosewood with ruby lights.
Body: Medium.
Nose: A gentle and almost enigmatic nose, dry overall, which initially gives little away. After a while a suggestion of polished leather emerges, perhaps edging towards scented wax furniture polish, on a base of hard toffee, with vanilla notes.
Palate: Lean and smooth in texture, while the powerfully bittersweet taste is immediately striking. The powerful taste of striking dark orange marmalade is cut with drying wood spice before spiralling into endless layers of deep bitterness.
Finish: Medium to long, lightly spicy and very drying, with a bitter-sweet nutty-spicy aftertaste.

Jacob Rieger & Company was founded in 1887 in Kansas City’s West Bottoms Livestock Exchange district. The brand offered over 100 alcoholic products and took pride in maintaining a quarter of a million unique customers by offering mail-order delivery services. In 1919, Prohibition was enacted by the federal government and wasn’t reversed until 1933. J. Rieger & Co. was a casualty at the time, but was not destined to be lost forever. Now, a century after Prohibition, we are proud once again to call Kansas City home.

Mars Whisky is a Japanese whisky brand that is produced by the Hombo Shuzo company, which is based in Kagoshima, Japan. The brand is named after the Mars Shinshu distillery, which is located in the Nagano prefecture of Japan.
The Mars Shinshu distillery was established in 1949, but production was suspended in 1992 due to a decline in the demand for whisky in Japan. However, in 2011, the distillery was revived and production of Mars Whisky resumed.
