Tasting Notes:

Attention Bourbon Lovers! Southside Steve here and always being in high gear means living my best life. Born Atlanta, raised on the Southside, and a longtime morning radio host, I strive to have fun and have done a lot of crazy things including living on a billboard for 39 days, owning a Smokey and the Bandit themed bar, getting married for one day and of course, still rock’n my 10-inch ponytail.

Leopold Bros Three Chamber Rye
For over a hundred years, American rye whiskey was commonly produced in what was called a Three Chamber Still to extract not only distillate, but also oils and aromas hidden in the grains. The resulting spirits was marketed as “heavy-bodied” whiskey, but production stopped just after World War II and the still in which is was made became a lost American tradition. Leopold Bros. painstakingly re-engineered a Three Chamber Still from old manuscripts and gre the heritage grain Abruzzi rye that was favored by Pre-Prohibition distillers to resurrect this one of a kind whiskey.

Lexington Club Straight Bourbon
In 1878 famous Kentucky Whiskey distillers, Julius Freiberg & Levi Workum, started bottling their own Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey using the brand name, “Lexington Club”. The Lexington Club brand became popular and was sold in “practically every state in the Union”. In 1899, Freiberg & Workum sold their distillery to the Whiskey Trust, which continued high-volume sales of The Lexington Club brand. We honor these entrepreneurial giants, who dominated the Kentucky and Ohio Valley whiskey industries with the re-introduction of this copper pot distilled Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey.

This whiskey is crafted from 73% Rye and 27% Mesquite Smoked Malt Barley using American Ale Yeast, fermented for 6 days, and double distilled in a copper pot still. It is aged for a minimum of 2 years in new, charred American White Oak Barrels and bottled unfiltered for optimal flavor.

Liberty Pole Pennsylvania High Rye Bourbon
For this Bourbon Whiskey, in true Pennsylvania tradition, we crafted the mash bill with as little corn as the law allows and as much rye as we could fit in. The exact mash bill is 51% Bloody Butcher Corn, 40% Rye, and 9% Malt Barley. The resulting whiskey is an amazing combination of sweet corn and rye spice.

Licor 43 Horchata Liqueur
Licor 43 Horchata is much more than an exciting product from Licor 43. We took the traditional horchata recipe from Valencia and added a twist by fusing it with the delicately sweet Mediterranean flavours of Licor 43 Original.
Horchata is a refreshing cool drink made from tiger nuts, blended with sugar & sometimes flavoured with cinnamon and lemon. But horchata is not a novelty, the tiger nut of ancient Egypt is one of the earliest domesticated crops and was found in vases in the tombs of the Egyptian Pharaohs. The Moors brought the plant to Valencia where the soil and sun were perfect for growing tiger nuts of the highest quality.
Licor 43 Horchata has an unmistakable taste: it is sweet, light and at the same time rich on aromas from selected spices. A refreshing drink, absolutely different than any other cream liqueur ever imagined, once tasted it doesn’t leave you indifferent you like it or you love it!
