McCarthy’s Peated Oregon Single Malt
Lost Lantern hand-selected this cask McCarthy’s Oregon Single Malt from Clear Creek Distillery in Oregon. McCarthy’s is one of the very first American single malts, and the first one we fell in love with. Clear Creek has quietly made this exceptional whiskey for almost three decades.
This six-year-old cask, one of the distillery’s oldest, was made from U.K. barley malted with Islay peat and fermented, distilled, and aged in Oregon, aged in a third-fill 228 liter Oregon oak cask, it has a deep, intense smoke, with savory notes of leather and smoked meats and hints of French vanilla and sweet cream.

Lost Lantern hand-selected this cask from Boulder Spirits in Colorado. The Distillery was founded by Scotsman Alastair Brogan, who has brought Scottish whisky-making traditions to the high peaks of the Colorado Rockies. This dry, high-elevation environment makes for bold and unique spirits.
We love heavily peated single malts, and this cask is one of the finest we’ve found in the U.S. made from 100% peated Scottish barely, this cask was aged for 5 years in a new oak cask. It is very smoky, with flavors of smoked figs, bacon-wrapped dates, bitter orange marmalade, and fresh-baked brownies.

This straight rye whiskey is 5 years old and was aged in a single 53-gallon cask. Made from rye, and malted barley, it has rich oak, baking spice, and chocolate notes, with hints of vanilla and lemon curd.

Starlight Distillery Indiana Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Ted Huber Started Starlight in 2001 to capture the flavors of Indiana grain and fruit from the place his family has farmed for seven generations. Starlight revives this 19th-century distilling tradition of Huber’s Orchard & winery, an Indiana institution since 1843.
This straight bourbon whiskey was aged for 4 years in a 53-gallon barrel. It was made with 60% corn, 20% malted barley, 10% rye, and 10% wheat. It has flavors of lemon zest, cinnamon strudel, nutmeg, and creamy vanilla.

Lost Lantern hand-selected this cask from Still Ranch in Austin, Texas. Proudly Texan and loudly Austin through and through. Still Austin is committed to making grain-to-glass whiskers that reflect the Texas climate and celebrate the culture of its vibrant capital.
Aged for 4 years in a 53-gallon barrel, this was made from 70% corn, 25% rye, and 5% malted barley, all grown in Texas. It has notes of vanilla, dried orange, clove, and chocolate brownie on the nose. The sweet and spicy palate balances oak and baking spice flavors with notes of walnut cake and candied orange. A bold and vibrant straight bourbon whiskey.

This special whiskey was made by finishing straight 2-year-old rye whiskey for a year in a cask that previously held the distillery’s own sloe gin, adding complex flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and juniper to the underlying spice, vanilla, and oak notes.

We chose this cask because its rich sweetness, perfectly balanced by oak spice and an orangey zing, evoke the flavors of our favorite breakfast pastries. Aged for 5 years in a 55-gallon barrel, this straight bourbon whiskey has a five-grain mash bill that includes corn, rye, spelt, malted barley, and wheat.

Smooth Ambler West Virginia Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Lost Lantern hand-selected this cask from Smooth Ambler, which has long been on the vanguard of sourcing and blending whiskey with transparency and integrity. They’ve also been distilling and patiently aging their own whiskey as they forge a new whiskey tradition in the West Virginia Mountains.
This cask was distilled on Smooth Ambler’s own column still from a mash bill of 71.5% corn, 21.5% wheat, and 7% malted barley and was aged for 5 years. With toasted almond, white chocolate, and cranberries on the nose, the palate is rich and spicy, with clove, black cherry, and deep oak flavors.

This Oregon single malt was aged for 4 years in a new oak American oak, then finished for 1 year in an Oregon port cask. This adds rich flavors of roasted plums, peach cobbler, and blackberry to a malty body. It is like picking the very last flowers of Autumn as the sun sets.

Lot 40 Dark Oak
Lot No. 40 Dark Oak was originally aged in char no. 2 level barrels to impart the whisky with notes of vanilla and caramel to complement the rye spice. After the initial aging, it was finished in a char no. 4 barrel to enhance the flavours of charred oak, toasted sugar and deeper colour. The bold and intense rye whisky is finished by bottled at 48 per cent ABV.
Lot No. 40 Dark Oak delivers a full and complex drinking experience when consumed neat or on the rocks, but it is also gives added punch to classic whisky cocktails.

For the third time in history, in an unexpected departure from the ordinary passage of time, Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau uncovers the third milestone in the RARE CASK legacy: RARE CASK 42.1.
Inexplicable and unpredictable, a single tierçon has just unveiled its uniquely exceptional aromatic profile, giving a distinct expression of LOUIS XIII Cognac never encountered before, and with an unexpected 42.1% ABV.
Kept in obscurity and seemingly undisturbed, the eaux-de-vie inside are undergoing an enchanting transformation. They deepen with emotional intensity and fascinating mahogany hues that will one day radiate once brought into light. The combined forces of Time and Nature acting through an endless number of interwoven cycles give LOUIS XIII Cognac its inimitable complexity.
RARE CASK 42.1 is the first edition of the Rare Cask Collection to be presented as a ritual set. The black crystal decanter is accompanied by crystal glasses ornated with black quatrefoils and a serving pipette featuring a black medallion. The forming of each decanter is a spectacular demonstration of the juxtaposition of art and savoir-faire. Inspired by a flask unearthed on the battlefield of Jarnac in 1569, each Rare Cask limited edition decanter is handcrafted at the House of Baccarat in France.
The single tierçon provides a limited number of just over 775 decanters, specially crafted from black crystal by Baccarat. RARE CASK 42.1 illustrates the importance of Caring for Wonders – for Time and Nature, at the crossroads of art and savoir-faire.

LOUIS XIII cognac is the result of the life achievement of generations of Cellar Masters, blending the finest eaux-de-vie using grapes grown exclusively in Grande Champagne.

LOUIS XIII Time Collection Tribute to City of Lights – 1900
The LOUIS XIII City of Lights – 1900 special edition is presented in a limited series of 2,000 numbered decanters. The decanter is based on the distinctive design, inspired by a 16th-century flask uncovered from the site of the Battle of Jarnac, and later owned by LOUIS XIII founder, Paul-Émile Rémy Martin.
Hand crafted by skilled artisans, the City of Lights – 1900 decanter features 13 dentelle spikes rather than the usual 10, seven fleur-de-lys in 18ct gold and a central medallion. A limited-edition stopper takes the form of an upturned decanter, and incorporates NFC technology that allows you to register your decanter with the LOUIS XIII Society, and receive a unique numbered medal minted by the Monnaie de Paris.
