Longhorn Red Pinot Noir Cask Matured Scotch 15 Year Old
First distilled in 1973, Longhorn is a double distilled, heavily peated single malt produced at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. The malt is peat dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown-style smoky character.
This Longrow Red Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been matured for eleven years in bourbon. Barrels followed by four years in fresh pinot noir barriques from acclaimed winemaker Grant Taylor’s Valli vineyards in Central Otago, New Zealand. 9,400 bottles at cask strength are available.
As this whisky is not chill-filtered a natural haze mat forms when it is cold but this will disappear when the temperature returns to normal.

Longrow 11 Year Old Red Tawny Port Cask Matured Scotch

This Longrow is Red Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been matured for seven years in bourbon barrels followed by four years in fresh tawny port barrels. 8,700 barrels at cask strength have been produced.

It has a very rich nose, with, notes of dark chocolate and warm apple strudel. It is warm, spicy, and sweet on the palate, with a very long finish.

Aged for five years, this straight bourbon whiskey (made from 74% Corn, 14% Rye, and 12% Malted Barley) is truly in its prime. It has white flowers and vanilla on the nose, a complex plate with white chocolate and baking spice, and a very long finish. -

This 5-year-old single cask, made with 51% Malted Rye, 34% Rye, 12% Corn, and 3% Malted Barley, shows why the style is worth your attention. It has a citrusy nose, with lemon, custard. And a rich depth on the palate. The malted rye grain adds a complex, biscuity, and toasty flavor and a great mouthfeel.

The State’s whiskey history dates to the colonial era, but by the 1990s Pennsylvania rye whiskey had disappeared completely. Dad’s hat has brought it back to life, driven by a deep commitment to the State’s history, farmers, and culture.
This straight rye whiskey, our first from Dad’s Hat, was made from a mashbill of 80% rye, 15% malted barley, and 5% malted rye and aged in a 53-gallon barrel for 5 years, It is fresh and grassy, with spearmint on the nose, and candied orange, chocolates, and clove on the palate. -
