Tasting Notes:
Hints of leather, brown sugar and caramel on the nose, followed by crème brûlée and marshmallow with notes of green apple and orange. On the palate, apples, caramel, and brown sugar are present, and the creaminess pairs with the orange from the nose to give a creamsicle richness. Vanilla, toasted oak and black pepper spice round out the flavor before the finish of a light fruitiness, grape tannic notes and a lingering spice.

Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Rye 2023
Angel’s Envy Cask Strength 2023 is a remarkable blend of two rye whiskey batches – cone batch spending three years in sauternes dessert wine barrels. And the second being transferred into new toasted oak barrels after initial maturation. By marrying the two, we found that the spicy toasted oak and sweet wine characters from each rye balanced each other perfectly – resulting in our first cask-strength rye whiskey.

Angel’s Envy Cellar Collection 3 Madeira Cask Finish
Madeira is heated as it ages, which results in the oxidation necessary for the wine’s desired flavors and colors. Historically, as these barrels were shipped from Madeira to the New World, the heat of the tropical sun sped up this process, creating an uncommonly delicious wine. For our third Cellar Collection Release, we’ve chosen the sun and barrel icon to honor the old craft and celebrate new discoveries.

Angel’s Envy Cellar Collection Ice Cider Finished Rye
This first-of-its-kind release by finishing seven-year-old, 95% rye whiskey for 364 days in ice cider casks from Vermont-based Eden Specialty Ciders. It is the fourth release in ANGEL’S ENVY’s Cellar Collection, the brand’s special release program that honors the late Lincoln Henderson’s pioneering and innovative spirit.
The French oak ice cedar casks used in the final stage of Angels Envy Rye Finished in Ice Cider Casks come from an extremely limited release crafted by Eden Specialty Ciders. Their tart, late-season northern spy apples were pressed in 2018, concentrated in the depth of Vermont’s winter, and fermented to perfectly balance the robust autumn spice character of this special heirloom variety. We’ve selected a wintry icon to represent the journey required to produce this unique whiskey.

Angel’s Envy 2019 Cask Strength Bourbon
In F. Paul Pacult’s Spirit Journal, the Angel’s Envy Cask Strength 2012 release was ranked the “Best Spirit in the World,” and the 2015 release was given “Five Stars, Highest Recommendation.” Angel’s Envy is releasing a very limited number of bottles of our award-winning Cask Strength this year, so don’t miss your chance to pick up a bottle or two of this rare and delicious spirit. Each year’s release is distinctly unique and is pulled from the most remarkable barrels in our rickhouse.
We judge only a handful of barrels exceptional enough for our lengthy finishing process. The result? Even at 122.4 proof, every sip is worth savoring. A remarkably complex spirit, we suggest you enjoy it neat or with just a splash of water to release the flavor nuances, and perhaps with a few friends who appreciate outstanding whiskey. Arby’s Smoked Bourbon
Bourbon whiskey finished with American oak staves that’ve been smoked with hickory, mesquite, and pecan smoke.
If you walked into Sadler’s Smokehouse in Texas, where they diligently spend all day smoking Arby’s finest of meats, you’d find piles of hickory, mesquite, and pecan woods, like the ones used to smoke this here smoked bourbon. You’d smell that same earthy wood in the air that you taste in each sip. You’d feel the familiar warmth of fire. And you’d feel hungry. And you’d feel thirsty.
Finally, Arby’s has smoked the meat called smoked bourbon.
