Angel’s Envy has announced their 2019 Cask Strength Bourbon which is now published on their website. The 2019 release will be available for purchase in the U.S. with just over 14,000 bottles being produced. Describing the 2019 cask strength, Henderson says it’s like the 2017 and 2018 versions “had a baby.” The 2017 bottling was more port-forward, while the 2018 backed off from those notes in highlighting more of the bourbon flavors. Henderson says that consumers will find the 2019 to be somewhere between those two takes, while being “very approachable, especially as a high-proof whiskey.”
